MS Exchange, Servers, Cabling
The nuts and bolts of most business IT and Communication networks consists of email, file servers and data cabling. If your IT Company can, in good time, respond to and fix any issue that occurs with these three elements, than you have a good IT support company. If you frequently have problems with these three areas, and your IT Company albeit quick to respond, fails to put these issues to bed, then you have another problem.
Microsoft Exchange Server
More and more companies are totally dependent Microsoft Exchange Server than ever before. As well as taking over the majority role of our postal service, it also has largely replaced our telephones as people prefer to send a quick email rather than pick up the phone and talk. As the cost per email being relatively free, makes this communication medium an attractive proposition, and also allows our contacts ‘time to reply’ by allowing them to respond in a more relaxed and convenient manner.
So imagine going back to the old methods? To enable us to do this would require a global shift in a backwards direction. No business can chose to do things the old way now that we are all doing things ‘this new way’.
If you didn’t respond to someone’s email, 10 years ago chances are they would forgive and forget but now, we would almost feel insulted or disregarded if we were not responded to. It’s no longer acceptable to be ‘un-connected’ to the new medium of communication. The email address now sits as the first choice of communication on most people’s Business Card. Most people are far too busy to answer the telephone.
When your Microsoft Exchange Server starts to cause you problems the whole business suffers. Even as far as to say so does your business associates. Business can be lost, orders can be lost both ways and enquiries can be lost. Important information waiting to be received or sent can be lost causing massive delays in the day to day operation of the business. In essence, if the situation continues then jobs will soon start to be lost and the rest doesn’t bare thinking about.
So we need an avoidance plan. What do we do if the Microsoft Exchange Server starts to cause us problems? If you do not know the answer to that question then you are playing a game of chance with your business. It’s a good idea to plan for this event rather than panic when it happens. Panic creates confusion and rarely yields the desired result.
To find out the answer, all you need to do is call 01858 455426 and we will be more than happy to advise you on how to avoid this business interruption.
