Third-line I.T. Technician

Our IT solutions business have a requirement for an experienced IT Support & Projects Technician with good exposure to supporting and configuring Windows Server/Desktop, MS Exchange 2010/2013, and other business information technologies.
You will be comfortable working with our SME customers either as part of a small team or alone, therefore a candidate with exceptional customer service skills and technical experience is essential.
You will be responsible for customer related service requests sent to our helpdesk via our web portal, telephone or email. You must be able to close calls to customer satisfaction, showing professionalism throughout the lifecycle of the ticket. You will also be required to undertake I.T projects, from conception to completion.
Travel to customer sites is required, therefore you must possess a full driving licence, be willing to drive company vehicles and work out of hours occasionally.
Must Have Support Experience:
- Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2/SBS 2011
- Windows 7, 8.1 & 10 Workstations
- Exchange 2010 & 2013
- Thorough understanding of networking fundamentals
- Printer fault finding
- Configuration of mobile devices
- Project scoping & design
Desirable Support Experience (at least two of the below):
- Routers & Firewalls
- Hyper-V Virtualisation
- Remote Desktop Services (RDS/Terminal Services)
- Endpoint Protection (Preferably BitDefender)
- HP or Dell servers
- SAN and NAS storage
- Backup solutions
